Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a mixed bag – the staff was lovely and helpful, but the rooms certainly could do with a makeover, and the stifling heat made sleep impossible. The location suited our needs, but it's due for updating. The dining experience was poor with limited options despite being charged full price.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the location worked out well for the wedding reception I attended, but there were some significant issues with the rooms and dining options that affected my stay.
My week stay at the hotel was mixed. The room, though a bit grubby, was more friendly than expected. However, it was inconveniently located at the end of the hotel wing with almost no wifi signal. The service, including housekeeping and a welcome drink, added a nice touch. The location was great for my work, just a couple of miles away, but the hotel is in need of updating. Dining options were limited, especially without having to upgrade breakfast, but at least there was a good Danish pastry. Overall, for a short stay, it was ideal due to its convenient location and proximity to the town center.
